Our Future Plans in Lochinver

Plan 1

We want to convert the old barn and byre at the back of Willowbrae into little self contained bed & breakfast unit. The barn and byre were used when the house and land was used for crofting. They housed fishing nets, small animals, food stores etc. in olden days. We hope to use all the original stones to construct this little cottage. It will have a bed, TV, separate shower room and a small wood burning stove. Breakfast will be delivered to your cottage with a smile!

Plan 2 - Building “Slanj”

It is our plan to build another self catering unit at Willowbrae. The front of it looks like the bow of a boat, quite apt for the area. The house is imported from Canada which uses Red cedar wood from Vancouver. Local tradesmen will be employed to build it. It will be a three bedroom holiday house with magnificent views of the Lochinver pier and Suilven.
